No! With our in-person workshops, even if you have never picked up a brush, you will be surprised at the results of your painting. Kevin guides you step-by-step through the process, and no artistic talent is required—it's all about enjoying yourself and creating something unique.

We require students to bring the following:

• Table top easel

• Paper towels

• Shop towels

• ​Baby wipes (optional)

• Kevin Hill Collection brush set (Brushes will be available in class at a 20% discount)

What we will provide:

• Palette paper

• Cleaning station, for convenient clean-up after the class

• Oil paint

• Canvas, size 11x14 inch

You can register at the link below the FAQ section. Cost: $140 per day or $125 per day (if you attend all 3 days) We require a $75 deposit to reserve your seat for each day you attend. The remaining balance is collected in-person on the day of the workshop.

We supply an 11x14 inch canvas for each student, which is included in the cost of the workshop. Some students will bring a larger canvas. If you are considering bringing a larger canvas, we would ask that you please contact us beforehand so that we can accommodate the larger canvas size when setting up.

Each day will be from 9:00am to 4:00pm, depending on the painting (with a 1 hour lunch break in between). Arrive 15–30 minutes early to settle in and get your seat.

We usually have about 40-50 students per day in each session. While that may sound like a lot, Kevin will walk around and offer individual help if you need it.

Yes, our workshops emphasize one-on-one guidance. Kevin will circulate to offer tips, correct techniques, or suggest improvements tailored to your work.

There is a mix of different skill levels. There will be some people that have never painted before, and there are some people who are art teachers and have been painting for a long time. Wherever you are in your artistic journey, we would love to have you join us!

We have boxes that you can purchase for your painting, so if you are driving or flying in, you can still take your wet painting home!

These workshops are relaxed and a social, fun atmosphere. The focus is on creativity and enjoyment, while advancing your artistic skills.

Yes—many people take photos of the demo or their progress for reference later.
